Meet Dr. Rebecca Burrous L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
Dr. Rebecca Burrous is the founder and owner of Oasis Women’s Clinic. She is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, a Licensed Acupuncturist, and a Board-Certified Herbalist specializing in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Rebecca also holds a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Dr. Rebecca holds the highest certification in her field, the Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, awarded by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and her Master’s Degree from Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. With over 4,800 hours of clinical and didactic training, she brings extensive expertise and dedication to holistic healing.
Healing Women with the Power of Traditional Chinese Medicine
In late 2018 I moved to beautiful Arizona to start my clinic. I had saved $7000 and drove myself from Texas. I was determined to give it everything I had to make my dream come true. Even if that meant filing for bankruptcy, at least I gave it my all.
I hold Chinese Herbalism, its philosophies and techniques in the highest regard. I have never experienced something more profound.Traditional Chinese Herbal formulas can take away anxiety, cures digestive issues, stops menstrual and body pain. All of these things I suffered myself and often felt like I was left to live with those conditions – until I tried the traditional formulas in school.
I worked closely with one of my favorite teachers, using and combining raw herbal formulas for my personal use. The results were miraculous. I knew then that this medicine is a blessing from god, and became sacred to me. I have made it my life mission to bring the delight of healing with Traditional Chinese Medicine and its philosophies to many. When something is as great as this it would truly be a sin to contain it to myself!
Upon my arrival I started off with a single yet, luckily beautiful, room in South Scottsdale. I had one year of putting my nose to the grindstone before the world changed in 2020. Yet I persevered, with the support of my patients who didn’t want to stop coming to the clinic.
Today Oasis Women’s Clinic is a bustling community in central Phoenix, where we have graduated to a beautiful 5 room office. I am proud to call Arizona my home.
